amelie played well today but not good enough to take masha into 3 sets..
both [ame & sabine] of there first serves were terrible especially in 2nd set..

Mauresmo drops out of Top 20

PARIS, February 18: Former world number one Amelie Mauresmo of France has dropped out of the Top 20 for the first time in nine years in the latest WTA rankings released on Monday.

Mauresmo drops three places to 22nd as Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova overtook Serb Ana Ivanovic to regain the second position behind runaway leader Justine Henin of Belgium.

The 28-year-old has not been outside the Top 20 since her surprise runner-up spot in the Australian Open in January 1999.

Mauresmo, who struggled with injury last season, did not defend her title in Antwerp last week, with the victory going to Henin.

She is expected to return early this week in Doha. "What I now need is to play matches, I'm going to Doha and then Dubai full of motivation," said Mauresmo.

the weather was horrible...
the wind was a big factor in the match...
ame had a lot of ue's..and was unlucky yesterday..
there were a lot of shots in which tammy hits the net then the ball drops on ame's court..while hitted a volley that hit the net but went back on her court :awww:
anyway she could have really won since she had set pt in the 1st set but was unable to covert it..and leading 53 in the 2nd :o

i'll report everything later..am in school right now...
