Sawasdee...I am here, too...I arrived late at 1 AM today in Bangkok from Jakarta due to crazy storms since Thursday eve till Friday at 3 pm...
I got to Dusit Resort on time for qual matches...already completed: Namigata d Narattana 61 63...I was surprised to see Junri...she reminded me of Sandy Gumulya in terms of how she walked and her gesture... Junri certainly looked different than last time I met her in Bali...Kanyapat reminded me of Septi Mende...big girl...sure, Kanyapat is bigger...I talked with Jib's dad and Kanyapat's dad at the same time...Akiko Yonemura was not her in best form but managed to defeat Clerico 63 76(6)
I just left 1st set of Wongteanchai in control over Liu Wanting 6-0...awesome game by rising Varatchaya...
I saw a bit of Xu v Han...into 3rd set...on court 3...
Sure, I met Jib...it was good seeing her again...um off now...

Pattaya practicing:

Savchuk Olga - Rodionova Anastasia

Better impression made Savchuk play - she played stronger and more precise, but little slower moved. Rodionova heat good from place, but with heats from move she was unprecise. Rodionova is here already from 3 years and we see that she like this tournament, climate there and she knows courts here well. Schavchuk played here in last year and played not bad. Both are so early here so they take this tournament seriously.

King Vania - Kurrydatseva Alla --> practice:

King is moving better, she has good phyconditions - she is delicate but moving fast and she is reversible - serving is correct, good heating from both sides - small number of errors - but she is lack od strenght of heat and she is must work for points with precision.

Russian girl is talented but on in good form - many double foults, problems with moving, she can nice finish a ball but only when she have a time to take a place, from moving many errors, chimerical, she is easy getting nervous.

Poutchkova and Bychkova - practice

This practice was big fun - many smiles and jokes - in the begining Poutchkova played very good, she play strong and precise - Bychkovawas trying to keep pace with Poutchkova, but not always. After 15-20 minutes situation going equal because Olga started playing little worse - little tired she plays less precise.

Voley timming - there is better Bychkova, we see practice from doubles - Olga filling not good on net, also on serving , whre we saw some double foults. Olga father staing on side and saying manu notes about daughter play, is visibe how is important her career for him - it is not so logn ago she was 30th place on WTA ( February 2007)

Bychkova - strong serving and heat from both sides, but problem is quick moving on court -she is often play from first ball and making many unforced errors.

Well, I have never seen her play. But she remember me Zi :hearts: And I liked her style judging by what I saw from her pics. Anyway I need to watch her play, but Im really interested :) Its great how people talk about her. She is so young, and is nice to follow a player being so young :D It is funny how I started to follow Na. When I read her name I thought: "its funny!" And then I searched some pics of them to see how she was (just curious) and I said: "Dont know why, but she has to be good". Then started "curious" to follow some results of her, and when I had the chance to watch her, I was so impressed   And I said to myself: "She will be so good, top 10". I said this in "Spanish Armada thread" and all people there was: "do you think so?" Then I followed every score, and when I got the chance to watch her, I like her more and more and more :hearts:

Predictions Tennisvamos team :

Poutchkova - Kudryavtseva

Although both traing there from two days and we saw both two trainings it is difficult to indicate favourite in this match. Both heat strong and flat, and moving on court is not best for both. We think it wlll be exchange of strong heats and there will be decide disposition of the day - level and style of play is quite equal and which one will take initiative first wlll win the point. Slight favourite there may be Kurrydatseva because of problem with double foults of Poutchkova , and because of only one match beetwen them, it was some time ago (2004 hard 63 76), but it probably give slight psychological advantage.

Shvedova - Bychkova

Bychkova is practicing second say on Central Court, today with Ammanmuradova , but on this practicies she have more fun than precision, what has influence for her efficiency of the play. She plaing good from place, while she is moving than she making errors. Will Shvedowa to be able to move her ? She is also tall (1.81 m) so maybe will be some problems with approach to strong heats from Bykchova. We dont seen Shedova during practicing (tommorow before match is possible relation from practice in livenews), so we net choose favourite there so far.

Next predictions coming soon live from Pattaya Open courts !!!

Sunday morning there was playing 2 matches with players form Uzebkistan - On court nr 3 - "inside team match" Iroda Tulyaganova won 6-1 6-2 with 16-years old Albina Khabibulina and on court nr 2 Vlada Ekshibarova lost with Chin-Wei Chan form Taipei 3-6 6-2 7-6 (6) , she was very sad after the match because she waste match point in the 3rd set tiebreak ..Anyway we can see Uzebkistan players looks like a very good team - they stay together and fancy each otrher all the time . Today Tylaganova will fight to get info main draw with very good young player form Russia - hard hitting Vesna Manaseva and it looks like a very hard match for her.. There is one more Uzbekistan player - Akgul Amaanduradova - she alredy is in a main draw she will play today with Barbata Zahlahova-Strycova and she is favoutire in this competition.. Good Luck for Uzbekistan team 's girls !!!

Zhou - Chan

It's worth to remember this name - Yi-Miao Zhou. This 17-year old girl is a big hope for China (19th currently in junior ranking; 455th WTA) and indeed her tennis looks very promising. She already has some power in her shots, she's fast and agile. If only she improves her tactical skills, she may be dangerous for the best in the future. But, for this day, more experienced Taiper player Chan should prevail. She's precticed here since Saturday and it looks like she treats this tournament very seriously. Also, she really likes to play in Thailand - she was in Bangkok '07 final where she lost to Pennetta.

Obziler - Lertcheewarkan

Israelian (86. WTA) has played FedCup lately, being defeated by strong Russian players Sharapova (26 06) and Chakvetadze (26 46). Though, 35 YO player has been losing to weaker players than these mentioned, f.ex. Spears or Bachman. In Pattaya Obziler practiced only once, today (as it was raining yesterday) and I doubt she'd adjust to these conditions (surface and climate) that fast. But, she was lucky to draw a wild card youngster - 16 years old Thai Lertcheewarkan (576. WTA), who though pretty tallented, has yet to achieve anything on senior level (06 26 lose to Pennetta in Bangkok '07). The walls will surely help the home player, but yet this time Obzlier should prevail, showing some top100 level of tennis.

Luangnam - Manasieva

Luangnam is another wild-carded player. She retired in FedCup last weekend in a match vs Indonesian player, after losing the 1st set 4:6. She was hard to be seen on practice sessions here, so it's pretty hard to say about her fitness level. Her tomorrow's opponent is a tough one. Teenager Manasieva (156. WTA) really amazes me with her tennis. She stormed through the qualies and beat experienced Tulyaganova today. The Russian has good physical conditions, hits powerful strokes from both sides and runs very well. Passion is visible in her play and she screams loudly ;) For me she can go far in this tournament, and this match shouldn't be a big problem for her
