For example, at the Acura, Daniela Hantuchova is the player representatives.

I think it means she was present when the live draw was done. That's what they call them at the GS anyway. They have 1 from WTA and 1 from ATP there.

More interestingly, "Clare Wood", now is that the same Clare Wood that got double bagelled by Jen Cap at the Wightman Cup all those years ago? :o

OK! I saw that in Stanford, Kim was the player representatives.

I thought that it was this player who made the "links" between the players and the WTA.

It's the same Clare Wood.
