Well, she may play 39 tournaments, but she probably loses in the first and second rounds of every tournament, so she doesn't get that tired because she plays little. That explains her ranking.

Dokic, on the hand, plays 31 tournaments, but either loses early, get to the quarters and semis, or wins it. She is playing probably 30 more matches than this girl.

Dokic better withdraw from some tournaments because I smell a burnout!!

Keiko is probably the daughter from a very wealthy japanese family who fund her travel expenses etc ;)

Keiko travels one hell of a lot
Asia, to south America to US

where there is a tournament in a week you'll find Keiko's name somewhere in one of the draws

Holy Smids, Batman! 39 tourneys!

The record for a good player in one season is 36 tournaments by Billie Jean. (She also played 20 doubles tourneys, and 210 matches.)

Is Keiko young or "pushing it"? In other words, how old is she?
