Dominque Van Roost or Jelena Dokic? - who was/is better

Dokic. Have never heard of a player named Dominque Van Roost so he/she can't be very good.

Van Roost seemed to be better in terms of always around singles or doubles:). Dokic has gone off the raydar but maybe she can turn it around!
Right now i believe it has to be van roost with all the big bottles of drinks or the flask thing she carried around!

Maybe people know her better as Dominique Monami
But why compare the 2? :confused:

Can someone post Van Roost's greatest career achievements? I only saw a little of her at the end of her career. I don't know much about her.

But something she did accomplish that Dokic never did is beating Davenport, and she did it twice in a row on different surfaces: Roland Garros 2000, Eastbourne 2000! Dokic is like 0-7 vs. Davenport. :p

And her best slam performance was QF at the Australian Open (if i'm not mistaken)

I was wrong :) she got to the quarters of the aussi open twice
also forgot to say that she won bronze at the olympics in 2000 with Els Callens in doubles

I remember Dominique beating Arantxa at Aus Open '97 was it? Obviously that result sticks out in my mind. I agree though, what is the reason for comparing these two particular players?

I also don't know that much about her though
