Lindsay Davenport played very consistent after comeback. For the four tournaments she entered, she won three and one in SF.

I think she is a threat to the top 20 players. A few top 20 player lost in early rounds of Sydney.

And what is your point?. Lindsay is a former No.1 and not just a threat to the TOP 20 players

My point is people always under-rated Lindsay after her comeback...

How can you underrate a mom who had recently gave birth, come back and win three tournaments?? She´s just getting match practice preparing for the Australian Open, then we will see in what state she really is!

I reckon she's a shoe-in for a QF berth at the AO.

I'm sooooo happy that Davenport came back....BUT...we'll see how capable she is against Top 10 players... So far (after she came back) she has played against Jankovic twice and the score is 1-1 (think I'm right)...
No doubt that Lindsay without some problems can beat 95% of players in the women tennis, but not sure how capable she can do against top players.
I wish her all the best!!!

OMG Lindsay eeeeeeeeeeee! If only she had come around sooner, women would have realized they didn't have to spend the rest of their life after having one baby locked up in a little room somewhere. Its depressing how many people seem to think she is doing something groundbreaking or unheard of - not only that but proclaiming her to be the AO favorite. Get a grip people.

Its true that her comeback is impressive - I didn't expect her to win everything she entered, but I didn't expect her to lose in the first round each time either. But face it - Bali, Quebec City and Auckland aren't hot potatoes, and neither despite her ranking is Jankovic.

I think most sport media havn't even realized now that she is THE PLAYER TO WATCH at the AO-08.

I hope she gets deep into the draw with being a threat to higher seeded players
