Anyone registered yet? I just did... it sounds quite fun. Maybe we can create a league and we all compete in it :)

I'm notice three stupid things here:

- Serbia have 2 TOP5 WTA players but for registration no option "from" Serbia :eek: (but have for example several minor Pasific Islands)
- They use wrong flags even tor two of TOP4 players :eek: (Ana and Jelena).
- Lindsay Davenport is rated like "D" (worst) class player :eek:

They are most likely the best choices among the rest in group D. Honestly I wasn't surprised quite a few chose them.

yea i guess so. for me, davenport was the easy choice. then i looked at (most of) the other remaining players' stats and decided upon rezai. since i don't know the lower ranked players, i chose based on the numbers.

so i'm guessing ao'll be the first tourney?

Ive joined eurosport fantasy tennis today and its let me enter :)

How does it start on the 11th ?

the 11th is the 'deadline' for like free trading where you can pick anyone you want to be on your team without having to use up a "trade", for which every account has 2. i guess if you sign up after the 11th, that time you make your team is 'final' and you can't make adjustments, like you can't save it and come back later to change it.

Whirlpool Fantasy Tennis last year was way more challenging. I don't like the fact that they do not consider tournaments that are parallel to the main tournaments. I'd prefer having more transfers and being able to think a little bit more about strategical decisions ;)

also what sucks is they give you the transfers at 00.01gmt monday but because you have to get them in by 17.00gmt it means you can't use them in time for the 1st day of the next week. if they gave you the transfers at 00.01gmt sunday then you could use them and it wouldn't make any difference to the current week.

Which already sucked pretty damned hard.

I'm still to figure out if you can make transfers once a tournament has begun, i.e. player A crashes out early on Monday, so before 17:00 GMT that day you replace her with player B, who goes on to win a match on Tuesday.

I do. I've always liked it much more than any other of the online fantasy games, even if the official ATP game was interesting in its simplicity.

I wasn't alloed to join that competition. The guy who runs it's knows me, and said I'd win it far too easily, if I joined.

Oh shucks, I didn't know that. :o No wonder I wasn't getting any points from Pennetta's recent wins. It turns out they actually have a list of selected tournaments in which a player can gain points. :o

yeah the selected tournaments are the highest tier tournament of that week
