Assuming Justine Henin wins the final in Sydney and the Australian Open, she will have a 35 match winning streak.

This equals Venus Williams' winning strak from 2000.

Who's streak will be greater?

Venus won two Majors and the Olympics. Justine won two Majors and the YEC.

I'll cross the bridge when I get there.
Even if its happens ( big possibility) I would just say great for both of them as its gonna be really hard to compare them as both are as equally amazing feat.

Justine is not winning Melbourne. If her SF is any indication, she isn't handling pace well. She could have been rusty but she is vulnerable.

And .. if Justine wins Melbourne, she is not going to turn around and lose her first match at Antwerp with that weak field. So she'll have more than a 35 win streak. Obviously, a number larger than 35 beats 35. ;)

We keep this topic on ice 1st... let's see whether Justine wins tomorrow against Sveta, and then the AO.

Then we can talk which is better. ;)

But Justine hasn't won two majors.
Her run began at Toronto last year, after she lost at Wimbledon, between the French Open and the U.S Open.

So I guess that that makes Venus' run more impressive?
