it's hard to choose the best...but that point between Justine and Venus in USO 07 at 5-5 1st set was really good.

i agree with the mary between the legs shot, its just so audatious to do it and then hit a winner from it. lets put it this way shes the only player i can think of that would even try it, let alone in the qtr finals of the french open.

Surely a candidate for "best point" (if there's any such thing) should not end
in an error??!
And that point btw Dementieva and Capriati was actually not that good IMO. It was just two
people trying to see who could hit the ball harder/with more angle than the other. Elena
missed so many opportunities to go the net and finish the point off and then missed a sitter
at the end. How is that a candidate for "best point"?

lol, i just don't see what was so good about that point.
i think i took the thread title too literally - it should be changed to "points you liked", or "your favourite point", then that would make more sense.

not in my case.

i'm sorry - i was going to mention your post as the exception
to my previous post.
yours was definitely a "best point" contender IMO.
i actually played it several times. capriati really didn't do much (anything?)
wrong - she played a couple of very accurate dtl shots into wide open space but was
still beaten by kim's amazing speed and athleticism, and the way she turned defense into attack in a
split second.

Kim Clijsters will easily go down as the best mover of all time :worship:

Pierce has so many amazing shots. The lob and then that backhand  She never reached her potential.
