Nicole should have won every match against Sveta. Instead, she has lost every match from a winning position. She was very very impressive against Jankovic today, especially in her mental game. I'd like for Nicole to win and ascend to no. 11 in the world, but...I just don't see it happening. Sveta in 3.

You're right, she does and that's always a good sign of success for Kuznetsova. Although, I think regardless of who wins it, it will be a close match. I like seeing the aggressive Kuznetsova who can whip the crap out of a ball, but sometimes she can play so defensively, which always urks me. However, I think the new spin that Vaidisova is putting on her groundstrokes will be a huge factor. We'll see. :)

sveta, probably 2 sets. she's played really well so far this year and seems to have been ignored so far. although i want justine to win i have a sneaky feeling that this is sveta's tourny whoever she meets in the final. also think the new surface suits her and she will have a good run at AO -semis/final.

Vaidisova was good yesterday.
Huge serving, big shots, nice touch and good movement. I haven't seen Kuzy yet, by all accounts she is looking fit and in the zone. Should be a good match.

It's sad because I think Sveta will definitely win.. she should since she IS the much better and more accomplished player.

However, I'm rooting for Nicole b/c I give Kuznetsova 0% chance of winning against Henin.
