whats the big deal? eleni has always been an underachiever. she's always had more talent and a more versatile game than most of the girls in hobart

so true again...
she needs to correct a few things though.
her 1st and 2nd serve needs lots of improvement.
also she needs to get in a better shape...
i really hope and wish for her to do well this year...

I dont think its a real shocker to be honest. Shame that Alona has no more match practice before the Open, but well done to Eleni for a great win.

let's not forget eleni is former top 15, so not surprising.

well top 14 to be exact lol
eleni is capable of many things and with a very good coach she can get in the top 10...s
he has the power and the talent...i just wish she had another coach or something besides daniel..someone with more wins and top players under his/her belt....
i am wishing her luck.
it will be nice to do well in this tournament as well as in AO.
this might boost her confidence
come on eleni

thats true but....eleni is playing against Dellacqua.
its always difficult to play against a home hope/favorite.
will see what happens
