saw this one live, well the last few games, omg is Dominica the shortest woman on the tour?? shes tiny? She got a coaching warning near the end, her coach? father? was giving some sort of instruction in her language, the umpire picked up on it;) very close match but the standard of play seemed a bit qualifierish (if thats the word). I really think Domincas height could be a hindrance to her career.

I followed the livescore, and I thought for sure when Kaia blew two match points serving for it up 5-3 in the third that Domi would come back and win. Congrats Kaia, I hope she can have a breakthrough this year, its interesting how she can stay ranked around 50-70 by just winning one or two rounds at tier I, II and GS tournaments all year. I admire her for always playing bigger tournaments. Hopefully now she can start getting further in draws, and make more of a name for herself on tour. Great win :yeah:

Kaia :) Good fight. Even if she choked at 5-3 40-30 and 6-5 40-00
Nice chance to play Arvidsson in R2. Make the quarters here, Kaia :bounce:

Draw has opened up really nicely now for Kaia and Sofia to reach the Quarters.
