Is TTC's coverage interactive like it was for the French? I haven't heard anything about it....

I just checked and ESPN does have coverage. I didn't know TTC had obtained rights to the AO like it did the FO.

ESPN2 has pretty extensive coverage.

There are also any number of online streams.

The only women's players ESPN2 will show are Serena, Venus, Lindsay, Maria, and Justine but as I expect the Semifinalists to all be among that group, it shouldn't be too bad.

ESPN has the same amount of coverage as it did last year. TTC just added more live hours. Basically, nearly 24hour coverage. :D TTC offered a livestream for the French, I am sure it will do the same for Melbourne.

I think it was posted last year that they obtained rights to the AO and Wimbledon. So Direct TV customers get interactive early coverage programming which includes TTC.;) I just wish they had exclusive rights because ESPN is known for time-delayed/taped matches.

Even more so this year. If Serena, Sharapova, Davenport or Roddick are first on, you'll be sure ESPN will repeat it with their time window rather than show Henin, Chakvetadze, Djokovic, etc.

Will DirecTV have the 5 courts option for Melbourne? :D That would be awesome!

Is there anyway to get Eurosport in the U.S.? It's better than TTC.

Directv does not have interactive, TTC will show only 3 hours live from 7pm to 10 pm. ESPN2 will have the schedule like last year.
Like We all know TTC only show ATP matches.

I read the Australian Open webpage will have live stream this year, but like always not available in The USA

WHen im in Europe especially in the UK, Eurosport will suddenly cut away from live tennis to show bike racing from Spain or some shit like that on tape.
So i wouldnt exactly be singing their praises.
BTW
This is during the US Open i might add.

show off!! LOL

Jealous much? :p

The only one small regret I have is that the FO is shown on a different channel... and I don't get any live matches for the 1st week! :o

I think TTC has rights to all the slams now except for the US Open. ESPN won't have any live coverage though so I think once the tennis channel is done with its coverage ESPN will do the highlights of the days matches and then replay one or two of the days best

Direct TV DOES have interactive ability, the French is prooof of that, dunno if the Ozzie Open will be similar though.

I have Eurosport France, Eurosport2 France and Eurosport Germany! One of these always show tennis! They are all free to watch!
I miss Eurosport International!
