I just read these news on Austrian TV and wanted to post it, but you were faster, Schetty :)

She'll manage the U 12 team and she'll start to study management. The official reason for her retirement was, that she hasn't got enough motivation.

Anyway, it's sad to see her retire, because she has been playing some great tennis. I've seen her once at an exhibition tourney, and she's really nice!

Good luck Silvia, enjoy life :)

Well good luck in the future Silvia. Pretty early retirement compared to others. But I can understand her when there's lack of motivation you won't go far.

I knew she was going to retire because her rank slipped so low and she seemed to have trouble winning matches. I'm not sure what happenesd last year either... I don't think she was injured. But, she said it was a motivation problem, and that sounds like it. Good luck in the future, Sylvia! :)
