From memory I think that Johnny Mac had a long running quiz show in USA called 'The Chair' and that recently it got axed.
Well, I've been told that Johnny Mac is in London and that he's here to do another series of 'The Chair' only this time it's for the BBC

Man do I feel sorry for you Brits. Perhaps he won't last any longer over there than he did here in the US.

Another bit of gossip for you.
Johnny Mac turned up at Queens Club on Saturday to use a court. Well, Queens Tennis Club is a members only club and The Mac isn't a member even though he's a past winner.
Usually the winners of Queens are given Honourary membership for life ( like winners of Augusta Masters in golf) but years ago he launched an expletive 100mph verbal volley at some woman on one of the practice courts
It later turned out that the woman in question was the wife of the Chairman of Queens.......opps
As a result The Mac was stripped of his membership
Anyway, despite this incident happening years ago, this barred membership of the Mac's is still in force yet on Saturday the Mac turned up at Queens and as bold as brass he walked into the locker room, got changed and helped himself to a court.
No one said shit to him
Obviously they were too frightened of being on the end of another expletive verbal volley ;)
