To Bret or the moderator: can you please change the player's name to Lyubtsova so that it turns up in the site search engine under the normal roman alphabet spelling. That's how she's spelled here: http://www.sonyericssonwtatour.com/2/players/playerprofiles/playerbio.asp?PlayerID=311221

What can you say about her game?

I spotted her in Roland Garros qualifiers this year playing very well, consistently putting the ball in just the right place against Baltacha.
In Wimbledon qualifiers, the first match against Lepchenko she was still getting used to grass until she was down 3-1 in the second set, when she started playing to her potential.
In her second match against Camerin she was moved around quite a lot by a more powerful player who can find some angles and moves forward a little more than her, but Camerin is fitful. Oksana was poised to take the second set at 5-4 when Camerin put a couple of service returns into the net, but Oksana got just a little tense to put three shots long in the same game and ended up losing the match.
Oksana is substantially a small baseliner who hits remarkably flat, talented but her serve does not add much to her game.

No 1 in Rome-Tevere Remo 25k
In first round vs Cristina Celani
And at doubles with Ira Kuzmina vs russian girls Bykodarova/Zavialova
Oxana is in the top 150, she is in fantastic form and has had a fantastic year rising from 247. She is currently in the QF of 100K Biella, where she has a very tough match up against Mara Santangelo. Hopefully she will win but I think it will be very tough
I can't find her entered into any tournaments for the next 3 weeks, which is not a good thing at all. She perhaps however needs the rest. She has many points to defend in August so we may see her falling down the rankiings. This time last year she won the 25K in hechingen and reached the Qf of 25K Moscow

It seems no activity since Minsk ITF in March. Any news?

She cut a swathe through Stockholm $25,000 this year, going right through the qualifications to win it. Had another good run at Bratislava last week. But these activities don't contribute an awful lot of ranking points.
