Nobody can beat Henin ...

This will be the most boring Year End Championships since ages. That's really bad for tennis IMHO, because there is (at the moment) no player who can defeat Henin :banghead:

I think two players can beat Henin. Ivanovic and Sharapova. They just need to play well.

True, all the matches without Henin are error fests.

The round robin doesn't work for the women. Look at this match. Bartoli is playing 2 matches for $67,000. Is she even trying?
Tomorrow, is anyone watching Sveta-Dani playing to avoid last place?

Based on current form, I think both Sharapova and Ivanovic could beat Henin. But Sharapova is the only one I can foresee doing it.

I disagree. The match between Maria and Sveta was pretty well played. Maria had more winners than errors. Both were serving well. The errors in the match were mostly forced.

Sharapova? Only because she beat Hantuchova and Kusnetzova?

I don't like Henin, but i guess she would "steamroll" Sharapova with her current form.

Ivanovic? Maybe on a great day for her, if she gets her nerves together and Henin has an average day

and now a bagel for Marion

No, because she has beat Henin before and clearly has the ability to do so again.

Ivanovic and Sharapova are the only contenders left that can beat Henin. I'm not saying they will.

Double bagel at the YEC ... Quo vadis Tennis? :help:

I really hope that we will have young guns next years who get in the Top 10 and are able to give Henin a fight for her money :tape:

The only player of note or the only player in the YEC who hasn't played Justine this year is Maria. ;)

jep I agree.
A few weeks ago a Daniela Thread was moved to the CP, because it didn't belong in GM.
But it would be pointless, if they would move the thread about maria, because this little "Sweet"Freak would open 2 or 3 new threads about Maria! :tape: :help:

like Radwanska :tape: or Paszek . those players would only beat Justine, if she was having a REALLY bad day.

Nope. I guess Ivanovic or Vaidisova are earlier able to do so :ras:

Radwanska has not the game to beat Henin, Tamira maybe in 2-3 years, when she finally got a serve :help:
