Martina was tough on the grass again but Chris Evert has been looking lethal on the practise hard courts. I expect her to really challenge Navratilova at the Open. Watch out for exciting new comer Sukova too.

Kathy did you get knocked on the head with a tennis ball at the Mahwah classic this past year or what?

Are you still bitter enemies with Kathleen Horvath, who stole your thunder at the 1983 French Open??

Never was a woman so aptly named as that Kathy HORvath floozy. That was supposed to me my year as you say. I just wonder what sort of hold that woman had over Navratilova to get her to let her win. Still I was the fans favourite and that's what counts honey.

Ms. Rinaldi,
Thanks for the autograph at Amelia Island. I see your next opponent is Zina in the second rd. Though you're the touring pro there, I think Zina may give you a run for your money. In fact, I think Zina may be a future slam winner.

What are you talking about Rinaldi, this Open is going to be my breakthrough! I'm sick and tired of being in the shadow of Martina and Chris. Mark my words this years open will be the beginning of a very long and dominant SHRIVER ERA in women's tennis!

You aren't even in the frame for a win Pam honey. It takes more than bad movement, bad hair and a mishit forehand slice approach to win a Slam. As those three things are what you have to offer I wouldn't get my hopes up too high. Now I wonder if Elise is free for doubles...

Oh right Rinaldi and you've got the stuff right? Huh, seems to me it takes more than a bikini wax, hair that would make any member of Twisted Sister jealous, and a mediocre variation of MELISSA GURNEY'S tepid baseline game to carve out a biggy!

But then I think that you're more interested in being on court to maintain that bizarre orange tan that you seem to perpetually have. How do you make your skin look like cheddar cheese anyway Kath?

You're a cut rate Basset and you know it!

You didn't mind my tan when you wandered into my shower claiming you were looking for your racket Pam. You couldn't take your eyes off me as I recall. Said you hadn't seen such perfection since Turnbull in '79.

I WAS looking for my raquet, Prince Classics are easy to lose ya know?

You could've at least offered to scrub my back or something, it wouldn't have killed ya. And I said the "Turnbull of '78" there's a huge difference and I do mean HUGE!!!

That reminds me, remember the time at the Virginia Slims of Aames when I forgot my raquet in your shower and you were "teaching" Peanut Louie Harper the secrets of a good hot oil treatment.

I am STRAIGHT! You are a big maybe!

How dare you bring Peanut into this. That was a tough time for me. Peanut offered me emotional support only. I was young and innocent. She said I had the best hands since Shriver. I thought she meant my volley skills...sob

Oh my god! There's Carling Bassett! I Love her, she's so pretty.....Let's get her autograph!!!!! Hang on, those thighs are MUCH TOO BIG for Carling. Oh, its only Kathy Rinaldi, and whose that man with the duck feet she's arguing with?

We might as well get her autograph. Helen Kelesi is gonna whoop that ass next round, and cuss her out to boot!

Gadusek? Now that's one not even Shriver or Turnbull would have went near...and believe me they weren't fussy. Not that I like to gossip of course, ahem, *giggle*

Bonjour Kathy  Saying Pam and Le Rabbit were not fussy? :haha: This is rich coming from you Kathy! Anyone who can name Bobby Riggs, Renee Richards (before and after le snip), Bud Collins and Billie Jean King as previous lovers should not insult others

When did this happen? I mean, I knew nothing like this. Kathy told me she'd never gone near Bud. I thought I was the only one for you. Cheat!

Oh, well that makes it ok then. I think...

I better get to sleep - I have to lead MY team out tomorrow for the final. Sorry, my team and Alex Stevenson.

Nite :wavey:

I did once grope Bud Collins mistakenly during a locker room powercut after the evening session at the Open. I couldn't see anything and felt something short, overweight & stubbly brush against me. Who can blame me for thinking it was yet another advance from Wendy Turnbull? I just knew it couldn't have been Pam or Nathalie - after all what would they have still been on site for deep in the second week of a slam after all? Unlike me - I was in contention for all three titles that year as I recall...

Well it is not hard to recall, as it was this year's event! You were still in contention for le over 45's, le junior event and le wheelchair event. I have never been so embarrassemente for someone as you Kathy, when they exposed you in the junior event for not meeting le age criteria. Trying to pass yourself off as 18! Mind you, with those breasts you might have sneaked by unnoticed dans le boys juniors.

And then le wheelchair event! Trying to convince everyone you needed une wheelchair. You almost did it had it not been such une windy day, and after une strong guste of wind, you ran to the locker room for hair lacquer and une make-up touch up:o

 Hmmph - I genuinely believed an ankle injury qualified you for the wheelchair event. I'm an honest American citizen and would never use unjust methods to further my own cause. At least I have a slam title to my name now poor, dear Nathalie. Still you did well to fluke it into that one Wimbledon final with a shoddy, slapdash forehand not seen since Shriver was shanking shots from both sides all around the All England Club.

I'm not so confident of Chrissie's chances having seen Tracy Austin playing at Wimbledon. I don't think Chrissie'll have the answer to Tracy's 40 miles an hour down the line backhands.
