Granted I don't know much about her, but I am drawn to her progress after I read a blirp in Tennis Magazine about titled like "Fallen Stars". I know is a NCAA hero and plays a solid game. Anyone seen her play? Does she have the talent to stirr up the tour a bit? I see that she has been playing some challengers this year; will she continue?

I actually have seen her play a college match, when she lost to Kelly McCain at Duke.... it was played indoors she won the first set and then lost the last 2 pretty easily... She seemed decent, I wasn't really playing attention to that match it didn't seem that exciting... From what I did notice she has a solid game, doesn't hit the ball TOO hard but she does have some power.... I don't think she'll "stirr up the tour," but I could see her in the top 100...

She's more than capable of playing on the WTA Tour.
I'm certain she could crack the top 100 and hang about around 60-100 range with no probs

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully she will show some promise come a few months. Best of luck to Jessica. Tennis Magazine commented on her quick feet and solid base line game. Is this true?

She's a steady baseline player (at least from what I saw when she played Lauren Kalvaria), but her volleys are way better than her groundies. She gets into net every chance she can get, and seems to be a better doubles player (as shown w/her results partnering with Vanessa Webb and her 3rd round showing in the US Open doubs last year)

Of course she can; she's a GATOR. But seriously, she is very skilled at the net and has solid groundstrokes. She doesn't hit a very heavy ball, but she gets goood depth.
