well unfortunately mashafan i think she is still down for linz and could still qualify for the YEC....so unless she withdraws from them as well....which i hope she does for the sake of her shoulder (but i hope she doesn't so dani doesn't get in :p ).....i think her unwisest part of the season was playing those IW Miami Istanbul RG and Birmingham....the time she took off from Tokyo till Wimby could have helped a bit more....and its not like she needs the warmpups for Wimby cause its grass....they clay probably hit her hardest and was her undoing...

No, I am not. Serena reached the final. But, I understand you are sensible because Sharapova lost in her very first match. But, this has nothing to do with Serena, and I don't see the reasson why draging her into this, just because you are so bitter

i think it's better for masha...as i have said before moscow, i only wish she won't have another humiliating loss, but she had and it's not good for her "mentally" and "emotionally"...she needs to recover and regroup..she need not rush things...

she's also not ok "physically" as many here would like to point out, so better for her to rest and get into action when she's ready, not when she's forced to because of pressure because it will not do her any good...

If she won't play again this year then she will be ranked 8th or worse.

If Hantuchova or Dementieva will take Zurich then she will lose her place in the YEC.

I said "now haters are gonna". It's future. So it's not relevant to pick out the first posts of Dasha and mankind. I assumed/foresaw there was going to turn into a Maria's bashing thread cause 98% of threads concerning Maria's or even Serena's or Venus's withdrawals turn into bashing thread. Not admitting it is golden hypocrisy.

Plus I'm attacking nobody. I didn't see any agressivity in my first post. Plus I don't have any hard feelings towards both mankind and Dasha I goodrepped sometimes althought it's not mutual.

And as I said, the title could have been directly related to Ivanovic, mentioning Maria can be seen as hidden provocation especially coming from Dasha that, I repeat, I never attacked.

"Everytime Dasha appears, bad news about Maria come, priceless"

Considering you mentioned her by name, I'm not surprised she responded back.

And as I said, the title could have been directly related to Ivanovic, mentioning Maria can be seen as hidden provocation especially coming from Dasha that, I repeat, I never attacked.

Provocation? She posted a fact. In what alternate universe is stating an objective news item provocation? Be honest: You don't like that she's dropped out of Zurich, and you don't like the threadstarter. Had the SAME EXACT sentence been typed by a Maria fan, you'd have found no objection to it. If you had read it on a website- which indeed, is where it came from-- you'd have found no objection. Yet a Serena fan posting something that bad news for Maria= provocation to you.

And for the record:

http://anaivanovic.com/

2006 champion Maria Sharapova has withdrawn from the Zurich Open, which begins on Monday. The draw therefore changes, with Ana taking the place of the Russian and receiving a bye into the second round.

The threadstarter paraphrased from a player's official website. What SHOULD they have done? Not mentioned Sharapova to appease you?

Provocation? She posted a fact. In what alternate universe is stating an objective news item provocation?

I might have overreacting and overassumed. That's what I said that "it can be seen" as provacation and not "it's" provocation. Nuance. And as I said the topic should have been Ivanovic eventually 4th seed in Zurich to avoid any reaction especially since Dasha is the thread stater.

Be honest: You don't like that she's dropped out of Zurich, and you don't like the threadstarter. Had the SAME EXACT sentence been typed by a Maria fan, you'd have found no objection to it. To be honest, it's not a matter of liking or not the withdrawal. I'm just worried that's all. And for the last time I have nothing against Dasha, we're in good terms so you're totally wrong.
If the thread was started by a Maria's fan I wouldn't have said that cause I would be sure there wasn't further intention, and I wasn't sure at all Dasha just wanted to inform, ONLY.
