There is a nice interview with Tzipi Obziler about her life etc. The interview is in hebrew, but there is a nice video you can watch (in Hebrew as well...). Some details from the interview are below.

In general, she is very happy with her current achievments and hope to get the first title...

Her new baby is cute and cause her to sleep less but she feels that she have extra resources to have a proper training after such nights.

Her partner, Hadas, which is the biological mother of her baby, supports her but prefer to stay at home and not travel with Tzipi to all her tournamnets.

She hope to have some more good tournaments and her goal is to manage and get into the olimpic games next year.

Good luck Tzipi!

I support tzipi very much but it sounds kind of weird to me to read that it is "her" baby...

Anyway I really wish her all the happiness in the world :)

Didn't you even bother to read the first post? The baby's biological mother is Tzipi's partner.

Too bad you can't bring yourself to watch the video - it's a bit long if you can't speak the language, but it's beautiful.

Well, it is Tizipis and her partners, just like if it would have been a man and woman or adopted or birth...it doesn't matter ...its a part of HER family :D :bounce: ...:wavey:

Let's hope not. She didn't have to do anything to have the baby. And in my opinion, her and her partner shouldn't be allowed to have one.

It's great that your opinion doesn't count.

I have seen her play from time to time but mostly hearing scores while watching other matches. I don't know what the bitching is about. Men are never home for children anyway; it is always the mother and her neighborhood friend who care, watch, and feed the children.

Very cute. :) If she's happy the way that is, then I'll be happy for her. :D

Yet, I don't think WTA should consider her as a tour mom. The baby apparently didn't come from her tummy, so it doesn't sound fair to the others who actually had to go through the 9 months to have her on the same ground. :tape:

That's so 80's. I didn't even know it still existed, everywhere I look it's the men who get stuck home taking care of babies while their wives with better jobs stay working to get the family some money. There was a huge change underway over here.

The 80's are making a comeback in the suburbs of America now. Retro. My family grew up in a agrarian culture in India where that was common and throughout Asia in rural areas. In cities, it doesn't seem to be that way. But when women are widowed, they seem to live together because there is no man around and their children provide money and housing as well as food but no companionship. Look at Oprah; she got her Steadman and she has her Gayle.
