Who do you think has the best chances for a good career and impressed you most recently or when you saw her? I don't take ALG in, coz she already been at #13 and is already 21 now. :p

My vote goes to Sabine Lisicki. She is definitely the hardest worker and when I saw her playing I felt just wow. She was hitting the balls so strong:eek: :worship: She knows how to play intelligent and can variate in her game.
She just had lots of problems with playing consistent recently, so she often played one great set, but in the others it was not that well. But she is working on it and if she can change it more and more, Germany has a new star:worship:

I think she can do even better than ALG.

Probably Lisicki, Görges and maybe Kerber will do the Top-3 in Germany, if ALG can't come back to her old form. Petkovic is mentally too weak very often and Malek's backhand is definitely too weak for better results.

My Vote goes to Julia Goerges. But I think, Kerber has some Talent, too.
But Julia seems more ambitious than the rest of the girls.

Yeah Malek has not a game for a place in top 20. But still better than Meusburger :p :p

Hm, I hope Malek can do at least Top-50, with this backhand even this is not easy.

I think Sabine Lisicki and Julia Goerges have the best chances of the Germans.
They can hit the ball very hard and so they have the ability to hit a lot of winners.;)

Kerber has also chances to reach the top 50, but I can´t see a great future for the
others.
But ALG is still the most talented German player, but I have my doubts that she will comeback in 2008.
But to be honest, I think none of these girls is able to achieve the success of Anke Huber ( Steffi is totally out of reach for all players in the world) or is able to reach the top 20...

The question is not "Who has enough talent for top 10?". Read properly :p

Well, to be serious: I think Sabine could have this talent :) She can definitely do same like ALG did so far :)

To be serious: if she had that talent to be Top10, she wouldnt be #260 by now.

Players who might have the talent to be Top10 and are around the same age are for example Nicole Vaidisova at #14 (was already #7), Agnes Szavay at #20, Michaella Krajicek at #31, Vika Azarenka at #35 and so on.

Sabine was not a full-time pro till few weeks ago, she did school etc. - and she did not play lots of tournaments. Some players have their success earlier, some later - you'll see ;)

Szavay was not long time ago outside Top-100.
