Good to see Akgul into the quarters of her home event, this should take her to a career high ranking.
She's also into the semis of the doubles with Katie O'Brien after they beat Schruff and Brianti 4-1 retd. - so a very good week already for Akgul.

Good Job Agkul!
Who does she face next?
I've noticed Poutchkova has had a pretty sizeable recent ratings drop.

If Olga wasn't so hopeless I would have wondered if this result was fixed.
