Hi :wavey: . I think Batman cost less to make, so it turned more of a profit for the studio. I could be wrong though ;) . I enjoyed them both, but the Batman movie was my fave...especialy the SCARECROW

 OOOOOOK. I hope Batman, but its a bit to early to made a prediction. I have been waiting since i was a kid for a Justice League movie! I have always been a fan of DC comics characters rather than Marvel ;) ...:wavey:

Please. Marvel is light years ahead of DC. DC may have invented the formula, I'll concede, but they haven't changed it since the 1930s.

Spidey rules.

Okay, I did forget that DC does have Jenny Sparks, but only by acquisition.

Now there's a superhero who needs her own movie.

Isn't Spiderman kind of err childish?

Superman and Batman films have a much more mature feel. Especially if the rumor is true that Superman's kid get's murdered by a supervillain in Superman: Man Of Steel, woah now that would cause a stir

EDIT: the rumor about superman's kid being murdered is just a rumor from a magazine, it is in no way a spoiler. it is a magazine that has apparently been accurate with rumors in the past (i can't remember its name though) but scripts are altered a lot before movies begin filming so even if this magazine is accurate it doesn't mean that will be the final story. plus SUPERMAN:MAN OF STEEL is rumored to be pushed back to a release date of 2010 or even cancelled all together as WB focuses on Justice League. Anyway, just take the rumors with a grain of salt, its not a spoiler.

Black Mamba.

Batman Begins is my favorite superhero film but I'm looking forward to Superman: The Man Of Steel more than The Dark Knight.

I think they read that they may be pushing Superman back to 2010 actually, because they are working on the Justice League, but then I also heard that niether Christian Bale nor Brandon Routh will be playing Batman or Superman in the Justice League movie. :o

'EW' has just reported that Jessica Biel has turned down the role of Wonder Woman.

Seeing as these are all being released 12 months apart are they really in a war per se?
I think Batman will continue to rake in more.

I prefer marvel personally though ;)

It's a war as far as I'm concerned, because Superman/Batman fans do make a big deal of which is better. And Warner Bros will never release them at the same time, so 12 months apart is the best comparison we will get.

And the success/failure of Justice League will possibly have an effect on the Superman/Batman franchises.

Justice league and the Batman movie are going to be hot. I'm not so sure about the Superman movie, the last one was a big turnoff.

I also prefer Marvel.

Batman... but he's a fraud of a superhero if you ask me. He has no powers so therefore by definition he can't be a superhero

I partially agree  Although I do find Batman much more interesting than Superman. If it wasn't for Kryptonite Superman would be the most boring superhero ever.

A hero that can't be beaten and is invincible, whoop-dee-doo

I'd like Jessica Alba or Natalie Portman to play Wonder Woman

nah its not a spoiler, its just a rumor from a magazine (which i don't remember the name of) plus the script will be changed a lot before this film is made don't worry. Zod was going to be in Superman Returns and then was taken out of the script when Singer couldn't convince Jude Law to play the role. Plus with MOS rumored to be pushed back to 2010 there will indeed be many story changes between now and then. Just take the rumor with a grain of salt, its just fun to hear that its actually possible because the franchise does need a serious shakeup. But even if they were filming right now and i heard that rumor, i still wouldn't be sure of it being true. Also, there were scenes filmed during the filming of Superman Returns of Superman travelling through space in a spaceship and moving through the remains of Krypton, and they were very expensive scenes and were cut from the final film, so we just never know what will be in a film until it hits the cinemas.

OK good I'm sorry for coming at you. It's just that if the rumor was true it would be a major spoiler. The next Superman needs to be really good b/c a lot of people were complaining about the last one.
