i only watched it cos michelle ryan's in it and she used to be in eastenders  how you go from a uk soap to a...well to anything really is beyond me

anyways-i thought it was alright for a pilot, good enough to make me watch 3 or 4 episodes before deciding whether i like it or not.
im thinking it may well be cancelled though-it just has that feel to it-the fact its on nbc may save it, i know they have heroes but thats really it

1 thing they must stop is playing crappy music during the fight scenes, so lame

any thoughts???

I watched the promo and figured it's a total waste of time. :tape:

I watched it a couple of weeks ago because NBC was offering their pilots for free download. It was alright. Michelle's American accent was a lot better than I was expecting. I'll probably watch the next episode and then make a final judgement on it.

I've got to say that of all the new shows I really only like "Pushing Daisies" and "Journeyman". Although "Chuck" was kinda alright.

It wasn't half bad! Sure beats the hell out of the "game" and "reality" shows that have taken over! I'll watch the next episode or two before deciding if it will be a must to watch for me.

Is Jelena Jankovic starring in it?

Some of the acting was horrible. Especially Jamie Sommers and Sarah Corvis. So stilted. I'll still try though. I don't know if I can stomach Isiah Washington though.

As a huge fan of the original 1970s series I will give it a look.
From the promos I have seen it looks diabolical though.
The original show was so fantastic that it would be almost impossible to replicate it.
The overall appearance and tone of this new version is too far removed from the original for me.

What might have worked would have been a big screen film...staying true to the original, using various storylines from the series to construct a feature length movie.

Pity really.

ABC’s Dancing With the Stars: Results and solid premiere of Private Practice lead ABC to a Wednesday night victory among households, viewers and adults 18-49.

CBS took second place among households and viewers with a declining Kid Nation and weaker than year-ago season premieres of both Criminal Minds and CSI: NY, while NBC got great results from its new series Bionic Woman and solid results, especially among adults 18-49, for the series premiere of Life to give the network a close second place finish among adults 18-49 for the evening.

The series premiere of Bionic Woman (8.4/13 HH rating/share, 13.59M viewers, 5.5/14 A18-49 rating/share) had a very strong, respectable debut. NBC definitely did a fine job at getting the word out for the new series. Its most impressive performance would have to be among the A18-49 crowd, where it was an impressive first on the evening in that demo category, holding off the series premiere of ABC’s Private Practice by 8% (5.1 vs. 5.5). Another bit of good news for the series was its half-hour growth. Both are good signs for the future of the series. Let’s just hope quality improves and audiences continue to stick around. I’m certainly hopeful that the behind-the-scenes problems don’t have a negative effect on the creative quality of the show.
