I'm definitely an Introvert. Just actually coming to realizing why I reacted so 'inadequately' in many situations in the past. Extroverts make my life miserable when I am around them constantly. :( My boyfriend is an extrovert, and we have a long distance relationship, which is good, because I need my time off. He likes to party, social, and I need my peace. Any suggestions, or similar situations to share?
By the way, I haven't posted in such a long time here, so hope all is well with you all.

By the way, interesting article in my opinion;

I can kind of be both.

If I am comfortable with the people around me I am kind of an extrovert. But, on the other hand, I can be a complete introvert.

I think at heart I'm an introvert; I often prefer my own company to anybody else's....by that I mean I need my own space often. But I start Uni on Sunday so I guess that has to go out the window!

wow the results so far are interesting.
uhmm Introvert :)
I find extroverts kinda annoying and generally people who talk too much and are too social get on my nerves. My best friend is one of them but she's one of a kind so.. ;)

I also prefer to have my space and i tend to panic if i don´t have it in a relationship eheh, but i never thought that is because of being an introvert. I think some extroverts also prefer this kind of relationship...

I'm an extrovert...and apparently, the only one so far

I like my own time, but I would always choose to be around people as opposed to being alone.

Introverts have higher IQs apparently, but extroverts live longer...

 it's 3 of us so far

I'm an extrovert definitely. However there are situations where I just rather be on my own and can be really introverted (when I know that if I'm not I'll go balistic at anyone around :help: )

No I read that introverts live longer because they take less risks than extroverts.

just their definition of fun puts me off

I'm not surprised an online community skews introverts.

After all, the extroverts are all out at parties with their friends laughing and dancing and screwing and having a wonderful time while we all just sit and stare at a computer monitor.

But I lead a rich inner life.

Really.

I think I'm in the middle.

I'm also the kind of person who hates to be alone, and does everything not to be.
I prefer extrovert, funny people.
I love to talk with people (a lot ), and have a social life (main reason why I chose my studies).

However, I'll never be the first to dance in a party, or a leader. When I don't feel comfortable (people, place...), I sometimes happen to be shy.

Extrovert here.

Not surprisingly, more introverts on a internet message board. Expected.

I'm a natural introvert. I like to have my "me time".
I can take on extrovert tendencies when I'm around a group of close friends and I'm comfortable in my surroundings. :)

I'm in the middle :p I can be quite shy when I am around people I have just met or that I don't know very well but I talk a lot when I am with people I am comfortable with and I don't mind dancing the first in a party :p
I also like to have my own time (at least 20 mins a day:p)
