not a bad score since it is her first match back....hopefully she will pick up where she left off almost a year ago!

What was the injury all about ?
Cacic had some sort of breakthrough here in Zurich years ago and made it to the quarterfinals or something like that ; I think her game impressed me
Wasn´t she some sort of the Iva Majoli before Iva even came up ?

Hey...Sandra is cool...and her father is a trip...I hung out with him a lot in Sarasota at the Open. She was quite nice too...happy she's back.:wavey:

Yeah, wasn't Cacic having a breakthrough this time last year at the hardcourts? I thought it was impressive when she pushed Lindsay at one of the hardcourt tournaments...

The year in Zurich might have been the year that Martina Navratilova retired ; not quite sure about that but I believe it was the final year for Martina and a good indoor season for Mary Pierce that Zurich-year, wasn´t it

How was Sandra injured?
Jul 17th, 2002, 01:11 AM
Sandra tore her ACL...which is the huge muscle on the front of you calf (i believe)...took her a long time to recover so obviously it was a serious injury
Sandra had a good year last year, she came up from about 250 to 80 between Jan 2000 and US Open 2002
