View Full Version : Cycling fans: how stupid does Andreas Kloeden feel right now?

if you folloed the 2006 Tour de France, you might remember that Floyd Landis and Germany's Andreas Kloeden held a lead of more than 25 minutes over Oscar Pereiro after the Pyrenees. On a flat stage before the Alps, Kloeden and his T-Mobile team allowed Pereiro to cruise on a breakaway to a 29-minute victory, letting him back into the race after he had been eliminated from contention for the yellow jersey.

This was a rediculously stupid, lazy, and unnecessary move by T-Mobile. If they had bothered to cut even 5 minutes off Pereiro's victory that day, today Kloeden would be named the 2006 Tour de France champion..

Who cares, they were all on drugs anyway.

Wait, I'm not a cycling fan. Nevermind.
