I don't know why I've thinking Portoroz is played on clay..it's hard court right?!

Cool draw, so many contenders for the title.. Bammer,Dulko,Golovin,Bondarenko,Zvonareva,Meghann

Based on her USO form Zvonareva should storm to the title.

Sarasota WTA tournaments in 2002 & 2003 were incredibly tough, way tougher than this one :help:

I think Vera is the class player in the field, so I'd pick her... hopefully over Bammer because it'd be great for her to keep producing this year.

when Dulko and Dushevina are both seeded it's a "solid" tournament for sure...

I must admit Dushevina hits softer than Chaky and Dulko has one of the most boring games out there IMO...but anyway.Dulko won FH where she beat Razzano so she can feel quite comfortable and confident on hard court atm. Dushevina is 8th seed, you're talking as if she was 1st seed..

Golovin,Zvonareva,Bammer... are good enough for a Tier-IV to say that it's a solid field..

Gisela is a claycourt player which means her game will be always boring. Playing all the time from the baseline and like the long points. It's obvious.

what a solid field for a Tier IV event. never would of expected of it although majority of the players would rather stay in Europe than take the trip to Asia.
