Whoever made the website is insane, but they're right about Vatican II being a bad thing for the Catholic Church. I mean, you have the most arrogant institution in the world, who apparently has the seal of approval of the Holy Ghost, and they don't even teach that their church is the only way to salvation. Who's supposed to take them seriously?

Dear Lakeway, its no secret the Queen of "Hingisville" has lived in (what you call) sin for around a decade, with a wide variety of men. Just curious, do you think she'll one day burn in Hell if she doesn't "repent"?

Luke 15-7: "I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance"

now as a Randian this is hard--very hard--to accept. Even though the anti-Pope John Paul II taught every man is his own God (according to Bro. Dimond...like Ayn Rand?), reading G.K. Chesterton has allowed me to see more why such a statement would make sense--though I'll surely struggle a while given my elitist nature...

should Hingis repent her sins? absolutely...and frankly I really don't know what to think if she does not and it is only between the almighty and each soul anyway

To a lot of posters here, her biggest sin was calling Momo "half a man".

To me it was being too friendly with PP and the Career Conman.

To Marti, it was surely failing to convert one of her Championship Points @ the '02 AO.

Repent woman, or the  is waiting 4U.

first, Marti was hardly the only tour player to make reference to Mauresmo's physique but seemingly got all the flack from the PC crowd.

second, while the '02 AUS Open was a disaster it pales in comparison to the FO giveaway to Graf (with help from the putred French crowd). Marti was 110% right but possibly a more humble reaction would have had her easily win the FO title...

but her latest effort in this year's US Open is definately something that she needs to repent for as that was tennis heresy

Momo was far from the only larged framed player even then, so a lot of it was because she's a lesbian. And while the even more "Amazonian" Linzi said "it was like playing a man" (a sentiment many surely felt after playing Linzi herself) Marti mentioned Amelie having her girlfriend there.

I adore Marti's game, and had a long conversation with her during her "retirement" where she didn't act snooty @ all, but let's be honest, OK? Re. the '02 AO, obviously I like Jen a little more, and greatly admire not only her saving the MP's, but then being the one who was fresher than her younger, slimmer opponent in heat on court of around 43C/110F (that got the 10 minute break rule created).

And I guess a number of bigname players should repent for their play in the '07 USO. :o
