THE OBJECTIVEChoose the winner of ONE main draw singles match EVERY DAY of the tournament.
THE CATCHYou may only choose each player ONCE throughout the tournament.
If your pick loses, you are OUT.
THE FINE PRINT
1. Your pick must be made before the match commences, or it will be deemed invalid.
2. Once posted, your pick is final and cannot be changed. Editing of posts is a serious felony in this game and will result in disqualification.
3. You always have to post/e-mail your pick, even if there is only one remaining player you can choose. No excuses, bitches. "I went home to my mountain village to visit my ageing parents and we have no electricity"? Forget it. "The government banned WTAworld access for 24 hours"? Too bad. "I had to make arrangements to give away my daughter"? Don't play suicide this week.
4. Back-ups: Clearly designate a player to be used in lieu of your pick if and only if there is a walkover or withdrawal BEFORE the match commences. Note that retirements do count as complete matches. Unused back-ups may be picked again.
5. You may only play one suicide tournament a week. Zero points will be awarded for the week if you participate in multiple tournaments.

Seeded Comrades
All comrades are equal, but some comrades are more equal than others. The top 8-ranked entrants will be exempt from picks on day 1. Dissenters will be shot.
Well! On this, our last day, I thought it would be appropriate to have a local delicacy for our farewell feast to wrap up (literally) the tournament. Thank you to all of you who came and participated, even if we had to throw you into jail for not following rules or whatever. But you get yummy food now, so it all evens out. It was an honour to have all the top eight participating this week, and we can only hope that Suicide GuangzhOHHHHHHNOOOOOOOOOOO (http://www.wtaworld.com/showthread.php?t=316710) will have... well, at least eight people participating. :p Thank you also to Wikipedia for all the pictures, and finally, a special shoutout as always goes to MH0861 who is my champagne supernova in the sky (since it is playing in the background right now)!
So, without further ado, we will crown our champion for this year's BeiJINXED: it is seventh seed NyCPsU! Here is a breakdown of how it worked:
All of our final ten picked Peng on day 2, Morigami/Davenport (who won by identical scorelines) on day 4, and Jankovic on day 6, of course. It therefore came down to day 1 (Hingis - lost 5 games, Cibulkova - 8), day 3 (Mauresmo - 4, Paszek - 6, Szavay - 10) and day 5 (Szavay - 6, Davenport - 7).
Thus -
Winner: NyCPsU - 0 + 6 + 6 = 12

Midweek Chinese Whispers
Comrades! It has been an exciting few days in BeiJINXED! Well, every day is exciting when our favourite mama, Lindsay Davenport, continues her spectacular comeback, of course. But our first brothers and sisters have fallen :sad: :sad: some got speared by Abigail on day 2, Andiyan fell to the Martina Hingis jinx and my bud Nicjac went with Kuznetsova and Cibulkova and just got Screwedova. :sad: But that is the nature of the game!
What is not in the nature of the game, though, is not posting your picks. What is with that, people? Former suicide top-tenner Davenselesport was "thrown off" by the time difference. But the same cannot be said for last year's BeiJINXED finalist, vianzfzf. And forgetting to pick is certainly not befitting of an Australian Open champion! Does Serena Williams forget to show up at a second round match? Oh, this just in: seenop actually withdrew due to an undisclosed injury but has been sighted bargain-hunting in the city centre... now that's more appropriate.

It has been a long dry spell of Ranriantastic!less tournaments, but I hope you all haven't missed me too much. It has been a long dry spell of Ranriantastic!less tournaments, but I hope you all haven't missed me too much.
