She got to start her season a whole month later than the rest of the tour.

The AO was very weak this year. Justine could have won 3 majors.

I agree. I feel she wasted a chance to dominate this tour because of a man who knew what Justine's focus was from the get go.

That could have been her slam.

At the same time though it seems she got everything with her family situated during that time.
She feels free and plays like it because of the lack of stress between her and her family.

I still think she could have won 2-3 slams this year still distanced from her family but it's an amazing feeling to have your family involved in the best of times in life.

OF course, Serena not winning the Australian Open would have also meant completely different draws etc. etc.

justine can still win 2-3 slams next year. AO is perfect surface for her, high bouncing, slow, needs good footwork but gives her time to organize her groundies
