I think both of them played their best tennis at yesterday's semifinal.

Both of them displayed all of the tennis skills completely,
especially Justine, executing her strategy very well from the beginning to the end.

I think Venus could've served better, but other than that they did play very well.

lol

Venus could have served much better and returned a lot better. She also didnn't seem to hit many angles, just straight down the middle. Justine played just about as well as I have ever seen her play. She did a good job of hitting down the middle and taking away Venus' on the run shots.

No.... Venus' return in the start of the match was just aweful..... Her serve was decent but still tragic...

Justines serve was 47% in the second set. They both played well... but not their best....

How can you even think they played their best.... especially when you consider the wind...... Noone can play their best in windy conditions...

Venus' serve betrayed her.

I would have to see the match to determine that....because I know the type of tennis Miss Venus Williams can produce...that girl is a straight up devil on the court. If her serve was off...then 9 times out of 10 she didnt. Venus on a very good day first serves usually 115 consistently...and her forehand holds up. I think the last time I saw Venus playing almost 100% was wimbledon 2005...she was straight up CLASSIC!

NO

Justine first serve percentage in the 2nd set = 47% :help:

The middle of the first set through to the tie break was sublime. Two great players toe-to-toe playing aggressively - women's tennis at its finest.

I think they did at times. Venus could have had a higher 1st serve % but was otherwise outplayed. Justine played her very best tennis except at certain times when she had a lead and nerves got the better of her. She routinely serves a low 1st serve %, so I was actually surprised in the 1st set when it was fairly high.

I think they both played at about 80%.

The first set, Juju played her very best stuff which in many ways is a tribute to Venus that she even managed to get it to a tie-breaker. The second was uneven from both. Venus just choked the 10th game away. I honestly think that Juju was closer to her best than Venus. Venus couldn't buy a first serve. Venus' volleys were better than I've ever seen them though. She's incredible at net.

I don't think that Venus was anywhere near her best tennis yesterday. But her net play and some volleys were amazing.

No, Venus did not play at her best.
See her interview

Having said, the historical record will not show how they play,
it will only record who won.
