Which favorite of yours had the best US Open?

For me it was Vika Azarenka by far.

Reaching her first 4R at a slam and then taking the mixed title with Mirnyi.

Hm... Well, it's hard to say.
Probably YJ & CJ, if they win the doubles title. Ai and Zi had rotten Opens, really.
Agnes also had a really good open, hm. So between Agnes and YJ&CJ.

But, you know - on the men's side, definitely Aspelin & Knowle. They're my first top favorites to ever win a Grand Slam while I was following tennis :hearts: Such nice guys, too, soooo deserved.

Venus had as good a US Open as she's had in a while, but I'm not used to her losing a semi-final. Quarters- yes. Third rounds- sure, but after she got past Jankovic this time I thought she'd win the whole tournament :( Oh, well.

I always cheer for Kuznetsova unless she's playing Venus or Serena,

None on the women's side. I love Jelena, Venus and Serena -- all lost -- Jelly to Venus. I feel especially disappointed for Jelly and Venus, and I wish that one had been on the other side of the draw. Oh, well.

Venus reaching Semi's was great and Ana and Jelena cause they lost to the best player in the tourament despite where they lost

Between Monica, Mary, Arantxa and Jennifer...too hard to decide I think. Thank god Lindsay is coming back or I think I'd give up on womens' tennis altogether!!
