Even though the tennis dropped off in the second set, I think today's match was Justine's finest moment. She had to play one of the most awesome forces the game has seen yet she was so calm before the match, knowing she was ready to play someone like this. Then during the match her intensity and those times where she got pumped up like never before, like she was enjoying being out there and enjoying the challenge. She has had demons of nerves and self confidence issues which she has worked on and today she was so comfortable with herself. It was great to see.

Justine came to age a lot time ago. She faced much more opposition against Jennifer a few years back and recovered remarkably well to kick Kim's flighty ass to the curb the very next day.

:haha: True, true, but this was definitely another  match! The intensity and the beauty of most shots was remarkable!

True about the finesse. Some moments were of greater quality than most mens matches I've seen at this Open. Djoko, Nadal or Roddick aren't as clean hitters.

I agree with your explanation, not the thread title. I think some of her tactical decisions during matches are not as good as before. But in general, yes.

Not a good look that she couldn't serve out the first set when she was up 5-4
