There is a good possibility that if Henin continues her stellar play she will surpass Davenport and possibly challenge Seles.

She'll definitely pass her :p Don't mind though, just wish Linds had passed the 100-week mark

Good possibility  She is sure to pass Lindsay and get to 100 weeks after today's win, who could change this

Yeah she probably will pass Lindsay but has got a lot of catching up to do to reach Monica! And I well didn't know Hingis held it for 209 weeks lol Learn something new everyday! :)

I don't think she'll reach Seles's mark, but hopefully she'll break the 100 week milestone now.

She's almost sure to surpass Davenport, especially if she wins the US Open tomorrow. But Seles, she's still far away. Justine could do it, but there are still a lot of tournaments to be won to reach that. ;)

Henin has a lead of over 1100 points over #2. If Kuznetsova wins tomorrow, she can cut the lead to 800, but Henin basically only has the Tour Championships and the semis in Paris to defend between now and Miami next year, while Kuznetsova has two wins coming off right after the Open and has played over 17 tournaments besides. After Kuznetsova come Jelena (who can only add the difference between 110, her 17th best, and whatever points she earns in any tournament from this point on) and Sharapova (defending big indoor points from last year). If Henin wins tomorrow, her lead goes up to 1400, with no points to defend in Australia. I'd say Henin's going to be #1 for a good long while whatever happens tomorrow.

Yeah, Justine will pass Lindsay.

I'm still bummed about Lindsay coming up just short on the 100 week mark too. :(

:) I think she's actually got a good shot to pass up both Seles and Hingis, eventually.

being number one for 1 year maybe, more than that I doubt, Henin will prove it to us though.

Despite being a Lindsay fan I feel Justine totally deserves to pass Lindsay for weeks at number one and don't see why Lindsay can pass another couple of people too... if she hadn't been out for '04 she'd already be right up there. To be so far ahead without playing the AO is amazing.

:tape: Kinda hope she doesn't pass Seles....
But if she stays #1 for 2 or more years from now, she'll totally deserve it.

No doubt she will pass Lindsay.
But there's still a long way to go before even approaching Seles's number of weeks at #1.
