After this tournament, Justine will obviously have a lot of confidence. Do you think she can dominate the game the way Federer has on the men's side.

i.e. winning 3 of 4 majors, only losing 5 matches a year.

She is already pretty dominate. But I think she can widen the gap between her and rest even more.

Thoughts?

No. If she was taller and stronger then likely but i expect the Williams sisters especially Serena to step up and start beating her again (like she did against Capriati)

I can't believe you started a thread without being racist to Asians.

Anyways, I don't think Justine can dominate. It's really hard to dominate like Federer does because Federer has only Nadal and Djokovic. Nadal is only dominate on clay and occasionally on hardcourt and grass. Djokovic can only do hardcourts. But Justine has the William sisters and Sharapova and Bartoli and Anna C and Petrova and Kuznetsova and Ivanovic and Jankovic and the list goes on

Justine needs to win tomorrow, she has to start winning Slams away from Paris to improve her status amongst the greats, anyway, Fed doesn't have much competition, maybe two guys, Justine has many more, even if she does win most of the time...

I think there's a great depth in Women's tennis right now, and will be even more next year. So it's tough to predict, but I'm gonna say no.

Federer's game revolves entirely around his natural ability. Justine's game revolves around her ability and the fact that she kills herself in the gym. She can't work any harder than she is working without seriously damaging herself. Thus, unless everyone else gets worse, Justine cannot get any more dominant.

As much as I love Justine, no one should be compared with Federer. Period.

I think there's too much competition for one player to be truly dominant. And that's why I favour women's tennis over the men's.

Hell naw....Justine has yet to win Wimbledon...if anything she is like Nadal..she dominates mostly on clay. She still has a default record against Venus and tied even with Serena...beating both of them this year does not make her a Federer of female tennis.

well she could if she was physically stronger..If she was even 5 10 she would be federer of womens tennis by now..Such an amazxing talent..

I can't see Henin being a Federer type but by the end of it all the usta probably will want 2 more exciting players.

Fed is my favorite period now but it's pretty obvious that the federation seems to crave that more animated type of champion like Nadal or Nole.

She has only lost 4 matches this year so far! :)

The Henin/Federer comparisons are SO annoying. "Great winner from Justine,JUST LIKE FEDERER." "Look at how Justine walks to the basline to serve,JUST LIKE FEDERER." God,shut up.

She's played in six of the past seven grand slam finals of grand slam tournaments she's played. She lost in the Wimby semi's this year.

Please don't compare Federer to Henin. If Henin wins 10 majors, she'll be close.
