after all the sh%t Richard was saying about Justine, she goes and beats his girls back to back on Ashe Stadium, is it going to make him more humble now or nothing can change him (I hope the second one;) )

This big mouth guy is really bad all the time.
Nobody loves him besides his family members I think.

I think it would suffice to give the right credit to Justine and everything he said will be forgotten.

Ugh, he's probably gonna call Justine 'a small white chicken!'

What's he got to be humbled for? His daughters lost a tennis match, FFS - little perspective please.

nah, I think RIchard is like the school bully. Once you punch him in the mouth, he never bothers you again. And Henin and Carlos just punched him in the mouth

no kidding.

Richard will be Richard and if you choose to be upset by Richard then you are a sucker...

...and that's the way it will be until someone pulls the plug hopefully many many many years from now.

Richard Williams was quoted as calling Henin a "great player" before this match. Nothing that happened today will change his opinion either.

I love him, he's good people, from the south. He's a crazy fox you know (cocky like most tennis dads out there), but he's humble people.

I just think it's irrelevant - he believes his daughters, at their best, can whip anyone, and he's entitled. Being their daddy and coach, it would be a bit weird if he didn't think that, wouldn't it.

I'm sure Justine couldn't give a shit, and she let her racquet do her talking out on the court.

When it comes down to it, the record books will say

2007 US Open QF: Henin d. S Williams 76 61
2007 US Open SF: Henin d. V Williams 76 64

Not:

2007 US Open QF: Henin really lucky, Serena multiple injuries
2007 US Open SF: Henin really lucky, Venus suffering from heat and breathing (or whatever excuse gets given this time)

It doesn't matter. He can say what he wants.

Henin gets the last word because all that counts are the results and that's all anyone will care about.

There is no reason to feel humbled Venus lost the match not because Justine outplayed her but her errors got the better of her.I think they will meet in the future and we will be able to determine now 7-2.

No, never, why would he be. He was hardly going to have Venus going into the match and say, I think she's going to lose this, now was he?
