I think the winner is coming from the top half of the draw.

Ugh? What's your point? Jankovic only hit like.. 17 winners against V.Williams yesterday and she took V.Williams into 3rd tie-break, so it's not really about the number of winners.
And I know Kuznetsova probably hit a lot of UEs today, but it doesn't mean she will do the same thing in the final.
Though having said that, I believe the US Open Champion this year will be either Henin and V.Williams.

That number (31) is the combined number from both players.

I think the wind was blowing about 40 miles per hour today

People who dont understand tennis put too much emphasis on winners/errors. tennis is not about winners/errors, it is about who handles the conditions

jankovic only hit 17 winners and was 2 points away from winning...
It's not about their winners, but the errors.

The last match we just watched-- it's impossible to hit winners if your opponent misses a shot before you can even build a point :tape:
And both players were doing that... The first ball out of the middle of the court and the other player pushed it into the net, 10 feet wide, or hit the back wall.

WHYWHYWHY couldn't Pova get past Rodwanker?

No way was it 40 mph... Let's see how Venus and Justine play the conditions ;) My guess is they will fare better.

Wind is 17 mph, just in from cbs.
