Tamira... she played great tennis. Patty didn't make much Unforced Errors. Tamira showed a great defense in the long rallies, she got everything back :clap2:

And she was mentally strong in the Tie-Break  And that with 16

Vika...she allowed a 5-time grand slam champion to win 1 game in 2 sets...and bageled her...she could have got tight so many times.

Azarenka for me! I would say Radwanska but it's obvious Sharapova gave that match away!

Azarenka for sure. 6-1 6-0 last two sets against Hingis now that is what I love!

Szavay.. with Paszek a close second. Radwanska and Azarenka won because their opponents played horribly.

An amazing statement made by the next generation today. Impressive wins by all involved, however Radwanska takes first prize for beating an inform and mentally-tough Sharapova. It's great that Azarenka, Szavay, Paszek, and Radwanska are all in the fourth round. They could all potentially make the QF as well.

Azarenka - She will most likely face Kuznetsova. This will be a difficult match to win (because Azarenka won't be able to overpower her), but, when one is facing the inconsistent Kuznetsova, an upset is always possible.

Szavay - I like her chances against Vakulenko

Paszek - The match with Chakvetadze should be very interesting. Both have a very smart game. I think Anna will come out on top, but Tamira is no stranger to upsets. It feels like it could go to three sets at the very least.

Radwanska - I think she might prefer to play Vaidisova, who she could frustrate in a similar way.

Well I think Tamira played the best tennis out of them, but I voted for Agnieszka simply because she made the biggest upset. I think it's the upset of the year...

Szavay's win was the most expected, but it's still impressive!

Radwanska because it was a huge win and she kept her nerve so well.

1)Aga. Defending Champion out!
2)Vika. Bagelled Hingis.
3) Agnes and Tamira tied. It was winnable matches for both of them.

All were great wins but Radwanska's was the best because it was totally unexpected. I thought the other three would all win to be honest.

Tamira had the best comeback though.

All were great but Agnieszka's win was something special. What they all had in common was the coolness in which the youngsters took out the establishment. All four clearly aren't afraid and believe they are good enough to beat the best.

Bartoli def. Henin Wimbledon SF? :shrug:No doubt these 2 are upsets of the year, I think even of this decade... But HCs are supposed to be the best surface for Maria and she was the defending champion, whilst grass is the surface where Justine is most vulnerable at. But she was #1... They are both huge upsets as most of people gave no chance to both Aga & Marion before their matches.

It's really amazing because all Agnes, Wika, Tamira & Aga were the SFs of jr Wimbledon 2005. Now they all have a chance to get to the GS QFs! It would be awesome for them after just 2 years since their success on a junior level to advance to the GS QF... and one of them would be sure to play in the final. Youngsters are coming! :worship:

.:sk:.

well, radwanska's upset was the bigger one, but as far tas the tennis itself goes, i was really impressed with paszek, especially her nerves and tactics.
