Sania is playing Doubles then mixed doubles almost back to back on the same court today! Then she has singles again tomorrow!
Is this the wisest move for a grand slam tournament? Or is this just good practice?
I can't help think that she's kind of shooting herself in the foot.

I am a little worried about her health but if she feels OK then its OK for me. Its only now after a long time that she has started winning. Otherwise she always played all the events. Now she is winning in all of them. Touch Wood!!!

I don't think she seriously expects to go deep at the singles tournament.

Actually in her previous GSs she was playing all the three events. But after this summer she should expect herself to go deeper in singles and cut down her doubles entries. Singles shuld be her main concentration.

Mirza is overdoing it its not like the girl needs the money she's rich. The thing about Mirza I don't like is she's an excellent doubles player yet in her singles matches she just doesn't come to the net enough. Mirza also needs a better serve.

Well, it could be a lot of play, but I don't expect her to last much longer in the singles draw. In the mixed and regular doubles tournament, however, she could be around for much longer.

Plenty of players play multiple events at slams. Sania will be fine.

And as people have said, realistically she won't be in the singles much longer anyway. And if by some chance she is, I'm sure she'd do what she needed to do to assure she was ready to give it her all, even if it meant pulling out of one of the doubles.

She has a way better shot in doubles then she does in singles. Sania will probably lose to Anna but has a great opportunity to go far with both doubles partners. Sania is shaping up to be an awesome doubles player, so-so singles player.
