He is on TV right now and predicted that 2007 Women's draw (top heavy) will make officials to change the way they do it.

He predicted that going forward they will make a draw for top 8 seeds

1-8
2-7
3-6
4-5

He's always a part of USA coverage. Fortunately, they tend to limit him to one or two interviews a day.

They need to do something different. I have to say that I am dissapointed with the way the draw came out!

The traditional (in other sports) seeding system would have produced.

1-Justine
8-Serena

5-Ivanovic
4-Kuznetsova

3-Jankovic
6-Petrova

7-Chakvetadze
2-Sharapova

Almost equally top-heavy IMO...basically swapping Jankovic for Kuznetsova.

Well, hopefully the Williams sisters will play more and get their ranking up, then this won't happen anymore :)

Other than making the draw itself a lot less interesting, this system has a terrible flaw in that players might start speculating in their ranking to get the desired quarterfinal opponent.

Great point. I don't think it's a good idea. I actually like things the way they are. Unbalanced draws happen, and they would still happen with the other system.

Tennis draws are rigged. They need to start investigating this fact.

I'm laughing now at Scoville Jenkins playing Fed X.

ALL slams put their rising talents against a champion. LMAO at people who think all is fair in love and tennis.

The draw is OBVIOUSLY STACK for MARIA. The BETTER Players will have to knock each other out before they can face Maria. THE BETTER players also have beaten Masha this year. LOL

How do they "fix" the draw in your opinion? What method of cheating?

Honestly curious. So many people are convinced they fix the draws, but I've never heard anyone say how.

It's because draws aren't fixed.

And there aren't that many people convinced they are fixed. Just a very loud and delusional little group.

Something like that. The top ten rankings haven't reflected who the top ten tennis players are going into a slam event.

he's always been on.

i agree with him about the draw. it's odd that tennis doesn't use that system.
