Agnes may play at the US Open, but it's nut sure. According to the doctors there is a chance. She has to strech her back a lot very carefully. She needs massages and some antiphlogistic. She is optimistic :)

Really sad that she got an injury at this time. I was pretty confidant tat she's gonna give many top players the run for their money and seedings. My best wishes to Szavay to get well soon. I loved her clothings and hope she wears nice outfits for the Open too.

She has to survive the 1st round, and then she will have one day off for the next match. But I don't think either, that she will be totaly fit :(

I'm hoping she retired in the final to save herself for the match on tuesday. She's young and with some experts helping monitor her condition hopefully she'll do some damage at the Open. I wouldn't want to see her name next to mine!

No, it wasn't precaution :( Her back hurted much, that's way she couldn't play a point without pain. She really wanted to win New Haven! That's why she cried after the match.

Hopefully she recovers fast from this ugly injury, and she can do some damage in the 3rd quarter of the draw :)

She hinted in the interview after the match that it's an ongoing problem. Playing through qualies and the main draw at NH is something that likely exacerbated it. I expect she'll be OK for the US Open, although not 100%.

I've had lower back injuries a couple times, and they are extremely annoying. They are fine during matches until you have that 1 stretch, odd shot, or lunge that tweaks it and then you start feeling pain.

Ya, I agree. Agi should spend a few time on court to get past Sandra Kloesel in the 1st round. Then, we all are hoping Michaela Kraijcek will give some help with several u.e. and dozen of d.f. If the job will be easy in the first 2 rounds, a rested and recovered Agi can play a great match against Nadia. The better player will won

Įgi feels much better today! She had a very little pain in her lower back after her training session today. And it's gonna be better for tomorrow :-) So she will probably play against Kloesel tomorrow:)
