Just a quick message to tell you all that the 2002 top 50 money list and the singles race to chase has been updated. Hopefully, sometime the doubles race (team and individual), and finally 2000 and career money will be put up. Can't give a date for those though sorry :(
The 2002 money list and the singles race can be found on the FWTT website in the 'rankings' section, or by clicking on the links below:

Dean Gisele played 24 tournaments and not 25
And Bastad and Surbtion alx didn't counted.
I think Ciudad Juarez and Lecce he doesnt count too. I would like to know if this two are countable. I think Lecce was for who lost early in Roland Garros, I'm not sure if it's Lecce or Ciudad Juarez.
Anyway, these challengers, for people who loses early on Grand Slams aren't countable, and Alx always said that.

Ber, i know they don't count towards the total you have played for ranking purposes....
BUT they do for the race to chase...just to show how many tournaments it has taken you to earn your points, so other players can tell averages and who's better and stuff like that.
But be assured that they are not counted in your total of tournaments allowed to play for the year
Alx and I had this discussion when we first decided on doing the race to chase....

Gianna Adrianna Dulko dropped from no.11 in Race to the Chase to no.14! Oh well, as long as she keeps that ranking she will qualify for Chase Championships. :D Her OUTSTANDING clay season is the reason for her great success, so this is a major positive step for Gianna! She is no.17 on the money list too! Hope her early round loss in Brussels won't hamper her ranking *worried* ;)
Katarina Krivencheva-Molik just managed to sneak in the top 50 money list at no.50! :D Way to go Katarina! :D
