She's entered into $10K Stockholm event at end of October ???
never seen a top 100 play a $10K event before.
Maybe Asa is trying to upgrade the event for next year.
next person entered is ranked 252 ( Tina Hergold)

Maybe. Or perhaps she was going to spend the week at home, and decided to get some matchplay in and grab a few points. If it helps a Swedish tourney, so much the better.

May be she thinks it's time to have a win?

If it does in fact upgrade the event, then I think that's great. It's a shame there are not nearly as many talented Swedish women as their are men. The more funding and exposure the better.

She's had such a terrible run of losses for the first few months of the year she's probably enjoying winning a few matches for a change and wants to keep on going Good luck to her!

Its not gonna help her rank much
at best around 7 pts
but I think she will probably "lose" to a Swedish player and give that player a helping hand with a massive 4 bonus pts
