Apart from the wilson promotion bit where Anna was a little bored (which I skipped over) Anna's interview was great. I particularly liked the way Anna gestured when she says "invisible". As if waving your hands in front of you makes you invisible :lol:.

Anya has posted Anna's Fed Cup match from earlier this year against Zi Yan :drool:. The quality is great in my opinion. Each part plays separately, but you need to use VLC media player to play it (or something similar. I just know it won't play with my Windows Media player).

Can't say I was too convinced by her yesterday. Her attitude was not great even for a practice. She was throwing her racquet, shouting at herself (I thought I heard her say mother f*cker :speakles:). Her coach had to ask her 3 or 4 times to come to the net to speak before she actually did and whilst they were hitting he had to tell her each time to recover to the centre of the court. I don't want to be negative here in Anna's forum I'm just saying what I saw. Anna doesn't seem to be in the best place right now, although you all probably know that already. After the vid I took they did a crosscourt backhand drill and she seemed to do a bit better in that. I'm not sure who the coach was but he seems really patient, not once did he raise his voice and when Anna shot a backhand down the line during the crosscourt drill he was like good shot but we're doing crosscourt ones. He seems like a good enough coach, I just hope Anna can find some form somewhere.

Not sure if you guys want to see, but Cosmoose videoed the end of Anna's match with Kiri. :hug: It was so noisy, with the sound from the nearby college waterpolo match.
Someone videoed the last 6 points of Anna's match with Kiri and put it on youtube. He or she must have been in almost the same seat as Cosmoose. Poor Anna, that call at 4-3 :tape:. But apparently there were bad calls against both players throughout the match, it probably evened out. Anna should have won the 5-5 point, instead she hit the ball a bit late and too close to herself and caught the top of the tape. :hug:

I know, I think because she gets moody, she sometimes finds it hard to stay motivated in practice, she sometimes feels too frustrated with a previous shot to move for the next. On one or two of those volleys she barely moved, just made a gesture towards the ball. But since she's finally doing better now in her matches, I bet that will make her more upbeat during practice too, which will make her practice more productive in turn. A positive cycle.
I think this kind of attitude makes Anna more likely than most to have hot and cold patches in her career. When she is playing well, she feels upbeat and practices better. When she plays poorly, she is moody in practice and doesn't try as hard which only makes it worse. Players who avoid slumps tend to practice with even greater intensity after losing, which turns things around for them. Hopefully Anna can ride the confidence from these two wins to get some positivity and good form for the whole USO series.

Not the best quality, but still, a point from Anna's match in RG against Kerber that someone took and was nice enough to post on youtube. She's pretty far behind the baseline for most of the point and on the last shot, gets a short ball but doesn't finish the followthrough on the backhand and misses it :tape:.

By the way guys, Anya's files are rar files, so of course as you know you normally would download all the files and join with winrar before playing. However even if you only download the first couple of parts you can play those parts using something like dziobas rar player, although you cannot rewind, fast forward etc, and also it only works if you have the first part and consecutive parts (doesn't work if you try to download the last part only). Perhaps there is a player that could play the last part only, but I don't know it. I just mention it because I notice that quite a few people have downloaded part 1, fewer people have downloaded part 6 etc. So you can still play what you have even if you only have part 1. I am slowly downloading each part, just a few more to go now. Also, it's worth it to download Anya's files if you want to see it- the quality is fantastic.

Chak looks spectacular, even with her new fat face. I like the back of her dress. She is hitting the ball quite well, she really has a nice looking game, always trying to hit winners. The page is in Chinese naturally, being in Beijing.
I have UUSEE player installed, and I can watch any part of it, it takes about half a minute to load initially.
Are you just asking about watching it, or are you trying to save the match onto your computer? I don't know about saving the file to a computer, that's probably a bit difficult, but watching it is no problem, I can drag the bit at the bottom to watch whichever bit I like, after waiting a few seconds for it to buffer. I am using firefox to watch- I haven't tested it on Internet Explorer yet but I think it should also work.
Are you having trouble installing UUSEE player? Is that the problem? Even though my computer does not render Chinese properly I was able to install it, although it took a little guess work.

I understand. It seems UUSEE player is not necessary to watch the matches that are already played, only to livestream. However, I'm not sure how to save the file. The site kind of hides the address of the file from you, so to speak. There is probably a way of doing it, but it's certainly not obvious.

You can save it with the Downloadhelper addon, just like a youtube video, but you need to have the uusee player load the whole match before you can download it. I wont dl it because its in HD and the whole file will be well over 1 gb. She looks stunning in HD, I dled the first few games, its enough for me. I just watched the first video which was posted, it has the last few games. Her coach was there. She certainly had a chance to win the set and her opponent looked like she was struggling. I dont understand how Anna is losing to these players who have had little match fitness.

in the interviews in Russian,the interviewer looks like Lina Krasnoroutskaya. It's so cute in the video at home when she pushes, at the table, the arm of her little brother who's taking too much place :lol:

Better late, than never. :) She also did a Bag Check back in '08 for the WTA. While we're at it, we might as well dig that one back up too. :lol:

I must have seen that match before because I was following Jelena's comeback, but I cannot remember a thing about Anna. How could I not have noticed the cute little Russian. :sobbing: I cant imagine her serving so many df now, her serve is so much better.

To be honest, I hate when i see her about to cry on court like that.I mean it's not like the end of the world if you lose a match.:shrug:Just play point by point and clear your mind Anna.

Yes its hard to say whether she is really that tense or if she just likes to react to each point. Her hand seems to have a life of its own. In some ways it would be nice if she were more like Hantuchova, expression never changes when she has her standard chokes.
