1r: vs. [ll] adamczak.

should be a very comfortable win. :yeah: come on patty.

this title has her name all over it. semifinals to defend, shouldn't be too hard.

Patty

She doesn't have much competition

Chakvetadze should be tough. She beat her at the Australian Open this year in R4 but hopefully Patty will be playing well and hoping for revenge.

Come on Patty! :bounce:

That Patty/Anna match was horrible. Patty couldn't get the ball in that day.

Let's do it Patty.

lets see. her road to the final is now:

1r: adamczak
2r: schultz-mccarthy
qf: morigami/kerber
sf: tatisvili/osterloh/mattek/amanmuradova

i will be crushed if she loses to any of them. an absolute cakewalk, in every sense of the word.

come on, patty.

and yeah, ludwig, i saw it too. after she choked and lost the first set, she basically gave up.

Morigami can cause some fits for Patty, don't underestimate her. Kerber has some firepower too, although definitely, Patty should beat both of them in two sets (though it wouldn't surprise me if the Morigami match went three).

A final against Chakvetadze though, you know, I think the adv. goes to Patty here, should they both get there. But you know, this kind of tourney with only two top players around, it's screaming for upsets.

Oh, and does Cincy count part of the USO series? It'd be :hearts: if Patty had an early lead in the race.

everyone thought akiko would give patty fits in the 2005 final but she ate a bagel.

kerber is like a lesser version of patty. i love angie, but she can't beat her.

no.

i was all excited in 2005 when she won, thinking it was part of the series. then i found out it isn't.

If Patty and I make it to the finals (she in the tourney and I in suicide) I am picking her to win no matter what. :D

And BTW, Patty's latest blog is ADORABLE. All those nice words about Lindsay and Brenda.
