Anyone know what is Sveta schedule until the USO?
Will she play in San Diego, Los Angeles, Toronto and New Haven? More tournaments? She has to defend 155 pts only from 2 tournaments she played.
Which tournaments she is going to play this summer?

Sveta has a shoulder problem. That's why she's skipping Fed Cup. She might be out for a while.

This is so strange. I never expected I'd get to see Petrova and not see
Sveta! (I thought I'd either see Sveta, or not see either of them!)

I'm glad I'm going to see Petrova. (Not that I'm glad to miss Sveta, of course.)

I seem to remember Sveta didn't play for about five weeks last year following Wimbledon. Maybe it will be the same this year, as her shoulder and her abdomen may need some recovery time. Pity, as she has few points to defend, and could have made up some ground on Jelena/Maria/Justine!

I do hope she makes a recovery and will be able to play awesome when she does return to the US hardcourts.

Pity for you Mary that she won't be at Fed Cup.

Sveta won't play in FC at the weekend?
Didn't know at all
That's really disappointing.
Get well soon Sveta, USO here we come :rocker2:

If Sveta comes to the US Open (health permitting), I will
get to see her there. I'd love to see her at the Acura Classic
(much more intimate) but that is coming up quickly.

I hope Sveta is better soon too, im going to the open this year :D so hope to see her there. I really hope she doesn't need surgery, as a Jen fan i really hate shoulder injuries and would hate it if sveta had to have surgery.

Any news about the shoulder yet?

Apparently Sveta won't need an operation on it, much to her relief - it should heal by itself, given time, as long as Sveta doesn't rush into playing again too soon.
We all wish her luck and hope she'll be fully fit in plenty of time for the US Open.

I'm happy to hear that
Let's hope she will be ok for US Open, if not, she should take enough time to recover :)

Nadia told the media in SD that Sveta wants to be on the Fed Cup final team. No surprise there.

But when Sveta wins that tournament, it will be like Heaven!
(And I didn't even spot the typo until I read the following posting...)
