But, you know, to make a little more serious, Venus play some unbelievable tennis. I mean, she reached some balls like I never see one person reach some ball like that on a tennis court, and she would even hit it harder back to me.

She served 120 miles on first serve. Sometimes was hurting my wrist so bad because the ball was coming so fast to me. So I really try my best I think, and I play a great match, but at the end she was just too good.

I can't say a player can beat her when she play like this on grass. I mean, it's not possible to beat her. She's just too good, you know.

She played Dementieva, she played Jankovic she played all the fast ones - I think this proves that Venus IS the fastest player out there. :yeah:

So I guess if Venus is in the draw next year, Marion should just pull out?

If Richard is good friends with Bartoli's dad maybe they shared notes before the Jelena and Justine match .Richard is so foxy like that, why not spoil the party for Jelena and Henin.Bartoli simply overpowered Justine just like Richard said she is no that strong.

Lovely words, so obviously having played Ju and Vee back to back, she has the most authority to vote in my best mover poll. I'll root for her too, unless she comes up against a williams....of course, she's got an infectious personality, even more so than Ivanovic.

A Williams sister was my tip for the tournament. For I tend to believe that if either Vee or Serena WANT to win a match, a slam, then they WILL win that match, that slam.

I didnt specify which of them. Just felt one of them would win the title.

However, my heart was/is with Marion. I didnt know what to expect from her really, but prayed with quiet confident since she lost at RG to Janko. Things picked up well with Eastbourne.

It's a little bit of a painful turn of fate that my tournament prediction was correct.. But at the expense of my Goddess Marion. You can sense destiny, but not always it's final twist until the veil is lifted.

It hurts likes Marion's wrists.

Why! She made over $700,000 bucks. Second place ain't so bad.

Welll maybe third place. There's another Williams out there.

But third pays well too.

do you think the money is what matters to Marion?!

I am a capitalist lol. But for Marion, today concerned capital of a different kind... Emotional Capital... Prestige Capital... Priceless like black diamond.

It has so much more weight when players facing Venus testify to this than
when Venus herself says it.

I'd rather believe the players who faced Venus than a poster!

I do not think Marion said that.
She was conveying her experience of playing a Venus who is on her game.
Of course we all know Venus is not always on her game. That is why she has not won Wimbledon more often than she should have by now.
