I mean just to read her interview and see how important it was to her to win this title. She put up such a good contest against Venus. She had 9 errors to which 5 were double faults. Thus off the ground against the Queen she only made 4 errors. Again, lets give it up for the girl. She made it a really good final.

Marion really proved these past 2 weeks that she can play good tennis amongst the best in the world along with a strong determined attitude :yeah: So Marion, I take my hatoff to you :hatoff:
A really good grass season for her with a W/L record of 12 wins & 3 losses :)
3 losses came to Sharapova at Birmingham, Henin at Eastbourne & finally Venus.
Shes had top wins on grass over Hantuchova, Dementieva, Jankovic & Henin.

i would cheer for marion before invanovic, vaidisova, peer, jankovic and lots of those (over)hyped chicks out there. evidently, marion has guts in spades.

Yes I do give it up to the girl, especially since so many people chose to bag on her. I'm not sure why people make fun of her for practicing so much and devoting so much time to tennis. She clearly is dedicated and loves the sport and that is great. Props to her for making this final. Definitely not expected, but definitely earned.

 Marion. she's certainly won me over, i especially love her little quirks like her kangaroo jumps and the weird claw hand thing she does before serving
